About Me

I'm a bit of an introvert, but once I warm up to you I'm pretty damn awesome and easy to get along with. I'm a deep soul and if you know me for a day, you might only know the shallow waters, if you know me for a lifetime, you'll discover all kinds of crazy, but it's all encased in a shell of extreme love and it's worth getting acquainted with...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet people from around the world and I would like the option of staying with people from around the world if I ever needed to.

Music, Movies, and Books

Oooh wow... I love a wide variety of music, if it stirs an emotion, I probably love it, but it ranges from Enya to Nirvana to Chris Ria to Mama Cass to Faithless to Mumford and Sons to Pharrell Williams to Lily Allen to Ryn Weaver to Tchaikovsky...

When it comes to movies I'm a cliché girly girl, I love romantic comedy and drama, but the movies I love most are the plot twist type movies - Fight Club, Inception, Now You See Me, Gone Girl, etc...

As for books, if it keeps me intrigued, I'll keep reading. Recent books I've loved: Liar's Poker, Good Omens, Middlesex, the Hippopotamus, When God Was a Rabbit, Sophie's World and The Dice Man.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing.... that is so limiting, I believe you should consider everything you do amazing. I have saved a parrot's life, I've had a meerkat as a pet, I've been attacked by a leopard (briefly), I've slept under the stars in the desert, I've surfed the dunes, I nearly drowned in the ocean, I survived a hi-jacking, I've stolen a trolley from Woolworths and raced around with it in the streets, I completed my bachelor's degree, I ran after Opera's car like a maniac, I've loved, I've lost and I've done a million other things I consider amazing, but I still have a lot to do.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm in marketing, but love psychology and the workings of the human mind.

I have an inherent love of music and all things art and culture.

Thanks to my parents I have a very good general knowledge and love of reading and I also love languages and how they are linked to each other.
