CURRENT MISSION

I am traveling the world with my husband for a year to hear stories of life, resistance, and celebration across the continents. We are using this time to decide how & where we want to live our lives, and what our collective contribution is to humanity.

ABOUT ME

I am a kameleon of sorts and feel at home with all people in various circumstances. There are few things that I enjoy more than hearing the stories of others, and creating safe spaces for sharing our experiences. I love great music and to dance until I drop. My family hosts blues concerts every Sunday on our farm in Waterford, MS check out www.foxfireexperience.net if you want an authentic juke joint experience without the knife fights! I am a newly wed still trying to figure it all out. People like me, I don't bite my tongue but I am very nice and fun to be around.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to crash on couches all over the world...and taste the local whiskeys and beers...I and tracking the international blues trail. While I am on the road I cannot personally host people, however my parents are able to host you for a Hill Country Blues experience should you make it to Mississippi.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not been accepted as anyone's guest yet. I believe in the CS community, and that its only a matter of time before I find my people....if you're reading this, chances are its you.

Goodfellas, Sabrina, Madame Bovary... I'm pretty much addicted to True Blood right now. I'm a sucker for any classic Hollywood films, too many to list but anything with: Audrey Hepburn, Doris Day, Paul Newman, Elizabeth Taylor, Elvis Presley, Sidney Portier, Lana Turner, Natalie Woods, Ruby Dee etc.
Some of my favorite current day actors and actresses: Johnny Depp, Ed Norton, Idris Elba, Natalie Portman, Jude Law, Clive Owens.
However, I can be a harsh movie judge but I love a good story.
