About Me
Hi, I'm Annette!
Born and raised in the great outdoors of Hailey Idaho, USA but currently living and studying art history in the diverse and beautiful city of San Francisco, USA. I also recently finished studying abroad in the charming town of Menton, France.
One of my favorite quotes is, "Adventures do occur, but not punctually. Life rarely gives us what we want at the moment we consider appropriate." - E.M. Foster
I am currently traveling, so I cannot welcome anyone into my home. But once I have returned from this adventure I will be sure to return the favor to those who need it!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hope to make it to every continent (possibly every country!) and open my mind to all the beauty this world has to offer. Part of the amazing beauty in our world has to do with the people that live in it! So why not meet these wonderful souls by couch surfing? I believe people who are willing to open their homes to travelers are the best kind of people, and I would love to meet and learn from them as much as I can!
Interests
I love adventuring through art, dance, travel, hiking, backpacking, hotspringing, eating, reading, music festivals, meeting new people, fascinating conversations, and so much more!
Also summiting mountains is one of the greatest feelings this planet has to offer!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love books that make me disconnect and question modern day life. This can include books like Game of Thrones that place me in a harsh yet beautiful medieval land or books like The Road that make me question what exactly human beings will do in order to survive. These types of stories fascinate me because although they are not exactly a part of the world we are familiar with, they reveal so much about the human psyche and offer a lot of lessons we can use in current life.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Fell off of a camel in the Sahara dessert at 5:30am. One of the most amazing good mornings I've ever received!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I feel that making new connections around the globe is such an important thing to do in todays world. Everyone seems so connected to their gadgets that they forget about the amazing planet we inhabit! I would love to drink some tea or wine or go for a hike while talking about inspirations and travels, making new friends!
