To live in a conscious state of mind and to figure out how I can serve myself, the people and the world around me.

ABOUT ME

I am interested in what the world has to offer. Because I was born in a village with three protective big brothers I take everything step by step. (You may realize that I'm telling you this to not put in me in any danger. ;))
Everyday I feel that I can do a lot to make the world a better place (YES I am an idealist) with inspiring people to be their beautiful selves. And to 'come out of their closets' to present all their drama and their dreams.
Writing, drawing, audio and film are media that I use to express what I feel.
With my workshops, I practice what I preach in my art and I open the gate to the inner wisdom of the participants.
Next to giving workshops and making art, traveling is the answer towards becoming my ideal self. Meeting people and places that are so different from who I am: so many times the world showed me different shades of the human being that I am.

I am not afraid to be honest with people, but never want to hurt them. Chocolate is my addiction and I love dogs, but I am also a bit scared of them because I watched too much cecar milan's programma: the dog whisperer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Some people call themselves: citizen of the world.
I only once had that experience by myself. I can even not feel safe in a city in my own country.
Meeting people makes me feel safe in strange places. It makes me feel free, open and 'wide' from the inside.
Couchsurfing is a wonderful way to feel safe, everywhere!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I walked el camino de santiago; the spanish route. I've walked over 800km in 2 months (I took my time, yes ;)) and it made me feel so strong and happy.
If you're ever looking for a wonderful, deep, profounding, true experience, walk that camino KID!

Teach, Learn, Share

I find it hard to fill in this part of the page. I give workshops in how to make an art piece of your life. I know how to study on things and how to discover what you truly like in life. I know how to discover what defines you as a person, and I'm able to show you why you are special.
One of my goals in life is to accept every emotion inside of me, inside of us, and to let it just 'be.' I'm not aiming for enlightenment, just an interesting life with a lot of wonderful experiences and a true connection with the people around me/us.
I write, draw and give workshops about these matters.

But to be quite honest: I’m still learning. And honest number two: someone else has to be open to learn, and not everyone is the right person to teach. We just have to see if we are able to connect on that level! :)
