Interests

I am interested in how media and the stories we tell can help to transform societies for the better. I care about the environment, but given that i travel a lot i am not that green (airplanes are still one of the biggest polluters last time i checked). How do I spent my time usually...? that depends a lot on where I am - usually I like to take on a somewhat regular sport like running or yoga, when I am close to the water I will try to go surfing and when there's snow and mountains I'll be snowboarding. I LOVE breakfast - i think it's the most delicious and fun meal of the day. So now it sounds like I spend my days doing sports and eating breakfast (which would be really nice for a few days now that I think about it;)) after breakfast i study, work, meet friends and family, dream, get angry, laugh later at what I was angry about, get confused about life and decide that's ok too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

first time stage diving, skydiving in NZ, eating breakfast with my entire family (it's a huge family that's why it doesn't happen very often), dancing all night in Havanna, watching sunrises after not sleeping (I don't understand why, but they are always prettier then)...and I just saw a beautiful sunset from the CN Tower in Toronto after watching a movie about plant breeding in brazil and airplane development...(that wasn't really fantastic but memorable), being surprise-visisted/travel-kidnapped by my friends - surprise-visiting my friends ...coming home after being away for a long time.

eheh, i could maybe teach you the basic chords on a guitare,... does that qualify?;)
update... as of the year 2015 i can also teach basic chords on ukulele... which is - when you think about it - a much wiser choice for the avid traveler;-)
