About Me

I'd say I'm an easy-going & friendly person, always happy to help, curious, animal-friendly, tolerant and always up for a drink with cool people :)

Due to some experiences I feel like I should add that it's not cool for me if someone offers to host me and then makes sexual remarks. That's not what I'm here for. Don't text me unless you're a genuinely nice person who just wants to offer a traveller a place to stay :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I feel like people should be more helpful to each other, without expecting anything back. Couchsurfing is one of many ways how to do that: Provide people with a place to stay and someone to talk to - which is, I think, really one of the most important things you can offer someone.
Plus, I love to share the things that I have, which obviously includes empty couches.
Last but not least, I'm an absolute "people's person" and love to meet people, have interesting talks and maybe even make friends :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I loooove funk, hiphop, soul, R'n'B and rap, but I can find beauty in most kinds of music, especially the one that just happens on a good evening together with friends.
My two favourite movies of all time are Grease (because the music and aesthetic is awesome) and Mulan (because Mulan is one hell of a woman).
My favourite books include Nero Corleone, Sex at Dawn, The Refusal of Work and pretty much everything written by George Orwell.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was named one of the top 100 young leaders in sustainability in the Netherlands 2016, so I guess that's pretty cool :D

What I Can Share with Hosts

I've been told that I'm a pretty decent cook, and I really like cooking for people.

Additionally, I can share stories, experiences, maybe some good books and most importantly, my time.
