ABOUT ME

My friends would describe me as a friendly person who loves to meet new people. My two biggest passions in life is travelling and photography, luckily I am now studying at the university to be able to have both of them included in my future job. It took a while for me to realize what I wanted to study, so while I figured that out I went travelling. It was the best decision I've ever done - I love meeting people from all over the world, experiencing new things and pushing my own limits. I have slept under the stars and on floors during my travels, so a couch feels like luxury to me travel wise!

PHILOSOPHY

Trying new things makes a person grow, that's why travelling is such a good school. I believe that the most important thing is to do what makes you happy in life, and not what other people tell you to do. I also believe there is something positive in everything that happens in life, but sometimes it takes some time before you realize what it was.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined out of curiosity a while back but it's not until now I'm able to try it. I hope to be able to experience this from both the surfing perspective as well as the host perspective back in Sweden!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I tried couchsurfing for real the first time during my Eurotrip the summer of 2014, and it was great! So inspired by the hosts I got to meet, I now look forward to have people surf at my place aswell and try to do a good job myself!

I have a very broad taste in movies, but the ones grasping my heart the most are the ones from real life stories, like WW II movies or Titanic for example. I love reading, from books like "Marley & me" to Rhonda Bynes to "Harry Potter". I am pretty nostalgic so I absolutely love Disney, Pixar, Astrid Lindgren and 90's music. Other than that I pretty much love all kinds of music, I love all the classics, (like Michael Jackson, Elvis, The Beatles, Queen, Abba) as well as new ones like Adele, Robyn and Macklemore and lots of others. At the moment there's alot of swedish music in my playlists to be fair tho. I love the tv-shows "Friends", "The Big Bang Theory" and "Game of thrones".

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

My top two best trips was my Eurotrip and my Around the world backpacking trip. I got to see and do the most amazing things in Asia, Indonesia, New Zealand, Fiji, North and South America. The nature in Mongolia and New Zealand was mindblowing, the fresh mangos in Argentina and Brazil is the best thing I've ever tasted, and several times I did things even tho I thought I would die - like skydiving in Buenos Aires and bungyjumping in Queenstown, NZ.

Other than that I've probably been the most happy when I interacted with different wonderful animals - tiger cubs, wild dolphins, koalas, kangaroos, monkeys, baby seals and elephants (not riding them of course, I went to a park and helped with rescued ones). Especially my time at the Elephant Nature Park in North Thailand was a real eye opener and touching experience - they're saving elephants, dogs and cats all the time and it's the most inspirational thing I've ever seen.

I can share alot of great travelling experience and give advice on what not to miss in the countries I've been to. I can also teach you some about photography, and well a little about Sweden too if anyone is interested (I highly doubt that tho). I'd like to learn everything! Like learning how to cook different dishes from all kinds of countries for example, that would be fun!
