About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Try anything and everything I would not normally do in my ordinary life

ABOUT ME

I'm friendly, easy-going and a bit clumsy. I like hanging out with people that make me laugh and can chat about the most random things.

PHILOSOPHY

Shit happens, make the most of the here and now
Strangers are just friends you haven't made yet

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Although I haven't been able to host anyone due to having housemates, I've attended some couchsurfing events in Sydney and hung out with the surfers that my friends have hosted.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

After I finished uni, I travelled through Central America and had my first couch surfing experience in Nicaragua. A few years later, I travelled through South America, where I split my time between couchsurfing and hostels.
Now that I'm travelling through Europe, I use CS to try make at least one local friend in each town I visit 😊

Interests

I love travelling, meeting people who have completely different lives to my own and having new experiences. I enjoy doing outdoor-sy/ adventure type activities and will try almost anything at least once (except for food that clearly wasn't meant to be food :/ ).
I enjoy chilling with friends and going out to eat, drink, dance and have fun. I love the beach and having wine&cheese board game nights! I really like cooking though it usually results in me making a huge mess of the kitchen, but I hate cooking for just me.
Currently, I'm trying to work out how I can live in Europe (ideally Spain or Portugal) while working remotely...any great ideas, let me know! 😅

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I finished high school I didn't want to go straight to university so I travelled to Italy (my first time in Europe, my first trip alone and without knowing any Italian) to be an Au Pair for 2 adorable little Italian girls for a year. It was such an amazing year and I learnt so much about myself.

In mid 2014 I left my job in Sydney and travelled around South America for 16 months... until my money ran out and I started to miss home a little 😅

Once again I've now left my job in Sydney with the hopes of moving to Europe and making a life here. While I work out exactly what that looks like and how to go about making it a reality, I'm bouncing around various countries and enjoying life 😊

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm sure I can teach loads of things but I'm not sure exactly what those things are yet.
