ABOUT ME

I'm a person who loves travelling and experiencing life, trying to get my everyday life as exciting as possible!

I have my own little firm within marketing. I freelance as a project manager/production manager in an advertisement agency. I also do graphic design and work within digital media.

I live together with my husband and little son (born dec 13) in Tyresö, approx 20 min to Stockholm.

I have a twin sister named Sandra. I'm 1 minute older, when we were younger we even used to trick our poor French- and German teachers, they could never separate us! Those days.. :)

I love music. I play the cello and the Finnish instrument called the concert kantele, which is quite a rare instrument in Sweden. My sister, my mother and I do some touring and concerting all around Sweden and Europe. It's nice and fun. My sister and I started when we were about 5 years old. Our mother is a kantele teacher.

PHILOSOPHY

My New Year's resolution to myself is to start living more in the presence of life and enjoy it. I'm one of those saying "I want to change the world into a better place" and at the moment I'm basically figuring out how to do it and what mission I have. I still haven't come up with the answer yet though ;) I think everything has got its purpose and that it'll come to me in time.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I'd love to show you Stockholm, I can take you to sweet spots which a tourist probably wouldn't find. I'm not able to accomadate anyone at the moment.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed at some people's houses when visiting Japan. It was a great experience to meet so nice people and get to know about the culture.

I have also experienced other type of coach surfing. I.e. my sister and I jumped on a train in England, which took us to Scotland. We came there very late in the evening and we really didn't know where we were so we hooked up with a couple who were heading towards the girl's mother's horse farm. So anyway, we ended up sleeping in a horse carriage that night! Haha, that was fun. And then in the morning when we saw the mother hanging up laundry (she didn't know we were there) two Swedish twins said good morning, the look at her face! Amazing! And the first thing she said: "Would like a cup of tea?"

兴趣

Besides music I love reading books and blogs about different phenomena. Many of the blogs concern current media- and design events since I like being creative and doing graphical stuff. I also meet my friends, cook, play board games and spend time with friends and family. We don't own any TV, that seems to surprise many people.. I love watching it but for me it was only time consuming and I had to prioritate other things. Summertime I love taking out my sailing boat and sail in the archipelago of Stockholm. If you come to Sthlm summertime I could take you out as well! The archipelago is beautiful and consists of approx 70 000 small islands.. (the number varies depending who you're talking with).

My favourite type of music at the moment is chilled and relaxed jazz, asian music, Buddha Bar, Café del mar. I also like Arcade Fire, Coldplay, Frank Sinatra, Kate Nash and so many more..

When it comes to Feel-good movies Í have a winner of the competition and that is... Notting Hill

I also love books, at the moment I read a lot of psychology books as well as marketing and media books.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I had an encounter with a sting-ray while scuba diving in Cairns, Australia. I accidentally bumped into the fellow.

教，学，和分享

I can play the Finnish national instrument kantele which I could teach. I can also teach you some of the Finnish language. I also know how to knit. I also love discussing graphical design and I know all the Adobe programs as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and I'm more than willing to give tips and share my experiences.

I love to learn about new ideas, discuss current events, discuss media and design, listen to funny stories and travel experiences.
