Bringing up a little rascal while trying to take it easy, have fun and get enough sleep.

ABOUT ME

I will try to be brief... Right now I am most of all full time home being mum of little happy restless rascal (born in a spring of 2013). Otherwise I am freelanced illustrator. I also used to work for quite some time as a seasonal stuff in a hostel. Apart of drawing and strolling around with my little rascal while jumping in puddles, picking stones, chasing pigeons and admiring trees and graving machines, I like hiking, scrambling in a mountains, occasionally climbing, reading, watching movies, cooking, gardening, sewing, crocheting and knitting stuff. Lazing in a garden deck chair, slack lining and playing frisbee. And of course drinking beer while sitting and talking with good friends... In general wherever I am and whatever I am doing I like to watch and listen. All the time.

Interests

I am interested in culture and outdoors as well. I need both same. When I get enough of drawing I get out for walk, bike or rock-climbing. I just hardly get enough of reading and listening music:) Or gardening.

Favorite authors: N.Gaiman (I can read American Gods again and again and again), G.G.Marquez, J.Irving, F.McCourt, M.Pagnol, K.Čapek, Tove Jansson... and of course Astrid Lindgren and Children from Bullerbyn;)

Music - ehm, it grew to be a little bit of everything... but the base is rock music (like The White Stripes, Pearl Jam etc.), ska/world music/jazz and blues.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am definitely amazed, awestrucked and left with feeling of endless humility when I am sitting in silence on the top of a mountain (or just anywhere in a nature), watching around and wondering about greatness of nature and "smallness" and vulnerability of people and transiency of all our doing. Every time again and again.
