2022 update - Mannheim
I moved to Mannheim - Germany - for work until new order.
I am in Paris one week per month.

Paris
Paris is my home since 2014, but my roots are Mediterranean and my heart belongs to Italy.
Nevertheless, I am in love with the ville lumière and so far I have acquired a more than discrete knowledge of its secrets.

I like to write and to read more or less everything, though I prefer to share a glass of red wine and nice stories with other people. Every person is an unwritten book.

No need to explain why I do use CS while travelling. Though, a frequently asked question is "Why do you host people?". I am optimist and think the average couchsurfer is an open-minded and trustworthy person, but the main reason is that hosting people from different countries and cultures allows me travelling everywhere without moving.
Of course, I prefer the more conventional trips, where I have to move for real.

Since I started to couchsurf I have been collecting unforgettable memories and building lifelong friendships.
Very recently I decided to write down about the best CS experiences, so if you also like to write you can help me :)

No words as "quantum unicorn" are needed in your message to show me you read my profile. Well, if you do that, 100 extra points to Gryffindor, but if the message is polite, it is already enough. Also, ambiguous messages will go to the trash so fast to distort space-time continuum.

I am an amateur portrait photographer and recently started the project to collect photos of people I meet during my trips. Different countries, ages, genders, skin colours, physiognomies.
I try to upload these portraits on the instagram account @portraits.of.the.globe

Another project in preparation: "Couchsurfing life", a serie of videos showing various CS experiences, both as host and guest. One episode per different Couchsurfer. Open door to whoever wants to be part of this.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can cook Italian and French dishes (though I am not allowed to share the tiramisu recipe), teach you the bases of photography and take some photos with and of you.
Also I can give you Maths and Physics classes, or talk about science curiosities.

What I Can Share with Hosts
