Overview
About Me
I am a Dutch girl who is living her student-life nowadays. I am a second year Business Administration student in the amazing student city Utrecht. Here I have joined a rowing-club that I really enjoy as it is not only rowing but also lots of fun and partying!
I am an independent, spontaneous, decent, reliable, helpful, curious and authentic girl. For my age I have already had a lot of traveling experience, as I "partly" have grown up at camping-sides. As my parents took me every summer out for camping in one of Europe's countries. According to my parents, I have always been a pleasant and helpful travel-buddy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As I am travelling on my own now, I would like to meet new faces. Love to het in contact with new people and see which and what kind of stories can be written out of this meeting!
Interests
A bit cliché, but my biggest interest is travelling and getting to know new cultures, cities, and languages. If it would be possible, I would immediately move to a country; would not mind which one, I just want to discover, explore and uncover!

Music, Movies, and Books
I am not a really music-fanatic, but I like all kind of musics. I am open for suggestions and your fav music!
Movies I like a lot are truely-based movies. For example: The railway man; MacMaryland; Saving Private Ryan, The African doctor etc. These kind of films really amaze me and I can get totally lost in such kind of movies. And keep thinking about them for days!
Films with action and thrillers, such as X-men or Iron Man, I like too. You would expect that I like juicy romantic movies also, but I barely watch them as they are too good to be true and only unreal hopes/dreams are generated.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Until now, the most amazing and courageous thing I have done in my 20-spring's life was my exchange in 2014/2015. I left my house and the known world for a year and exchanged it for living a year in France. I have had a nice time, but moreover it has been a valuable experience. Some nice memories are made during this year which I will never forgot.
Currently I am travelling on my own in California.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to learn about the culture and language the locals hold. I am a geek for absorbing new cultural knowledge and languages!
Also like to meet new people who are from another culture than I am! Differences make the world a beauty!
