About Me

I'm calm and open-minded, not super extroverted but fairly outgoing. I really enjoy meeting new people.

I would love to travel to as many places as I can and to really connect with the local culture. So far I managed to visit quite a few countries mostly due to my job as a stewardess on yachts.

This section I've written in 2013 when I first went backpacking in Europe. I'm only keeping it as a souvenir of that amazing time:

The photographic register of my trip is in https://www.facebook.com/my.unexpected.journey

I already started this dream and since april I'm travelling in Europe: France, Italy, Croatia, Montenegro, South of England (training course on yacht stewarding and seamanship), Switzerland and Spain! In January I am going to start working as a yacht stewardess :)

PHILOSOPHY

Only those who know themselves are able to experience and share something truly authentic.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I have my own place I'll be thrilled to host as many people as I can.

But for now I can only hope to find nice hosts to stay during my travels.

Interests

I love hiking and Scuba Diving. In a few weeks I will be starting a 10 week Dive Master course in a Marine Conservation Center in the Philippines. Couldn't be more excited.

My interest in the arts have broadened as I became a Product Designer. I'm far from an art scholar, but I like going to exhibitions, searching for architecture projects, graphic/product designers...

I can also say I LOVE:

Going out to eat a good meal - I'm a total beginner in cooking.
Dancing - have lots of fun!
Reading, specially fiction and books with a historic background (such as Pillars of the Earth, The Physician, The Egyptian)
And travelling, of course!

Music, Movies, and Books

Lifetime books: "100 Years of Solitude", "The Physician" and "Pillars of the Earth".

Music: I'm very eclectic...rock, indie, lounge, folk, world music (love Celtic inspired songs).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My brightest moments are usually in contact with nature. My first gliding and traversing on a tyrolean. Swimming through a school of fishes when scuba diving. Cliff jumping from more then 14m in Kornati, Croatia.

Teach, Learn, Share

What can I teach? ..... maybe portuguese? haha trying to figure out what I'm really good at.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good chat, easy smiles and help with house chores.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bahamas, Barbados, Belgium, Bermuda, Cabo Verde, Croatia, France, French Polynesia, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Saint Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha, Saint Martin (French part), Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States, Viet Nam
