Overview
About Me
I studied abroad in Italy when I was 19 and realized I never wanted to stop. When at home in California I work with babies, draw, spend time with family and friends, and plan my next trip. I taught in Korea for two years and met Hoie who has become my travel partner, boyfriend, and Instagram photographer extraordinaire.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My best memories of traveling are always people, and almost always somewhat unplanned. A good friend of mine has been couchsurfing for a long time and kept recommending it so I thought I'd give it a try!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all kinds of music(Korean pop is my guilty pleasure). I'm into slightly weird movies like Coraline, Paprika, Amile, and Scott Pilgrim vs the World. I will happily read most fantasy, sci-fi, and anything that help me understand people better.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I stayed up all night drinking with some old men I met after a festival on Jeju island where they set a hill on fire.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am formally educated in Art and ESL, but I am down to teach you whatever I know whether it's cooking, traveling, or ukulele. I love learning so if you like it, chances are I'm curious.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Cheerful conversation, lots of thoughtful questions, respect for your time and space, and stories about interesting people and places I've experienced. If I can get ingredients I'll cook!
