About Me
Basically Im afraid of being old and regretting not doing stuff, so I’m trying to do as much as I can while have (some) freedom.
I plan to work in wildlife conservation so that is obviously an interest of mine. So if you have a pet that’s even better - I’m up to making new friends, regardless of species!
I think that my most defining characteristic is that I try my best to be open minded and respectful of other people’s beliefs (unless they are harmful to others!) and I find it fascinating to learn about and discuss mindsets that are different from my own.
I love being outdoors, recentely I've just started to gain this weird interest in birds too, so anyone that can teach me about that i will be forever grateful to! I love the sea, I used to pretend to be a mermaid whenever I went to the beach as I child (sometimes i still do tbh)
I hate FIFA. No one talk to me about FIFA.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Initially a friend recommended Couchsurfing as he had such cool experiences through it. I felt like it could be a great option for me too, as I really enjoy meeting and learning about new people, and staying with someone who knows the place you’re visiting is always a bonus.
I travel quite a lot and even though I've been to some pretty cool places, I always end up remembering the people i met there better than the place itself. So I think that the type of people around you will be just as important as your destination. That's why I always try to have great people around me!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love reading and music so I have a huge list! My favourite writer of all time is Terry Pratchett and I probably enjoy fantasy books more than anything else. I listen to a lot of different music. I’m very open minded to new suggestions 😀
I like a lot of movies, but I definitely prefer pre-2000s films. Also my guilty pleasure is watching 80s and 90s rom-coms, don't judge me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spent a month volunteering for a wild life conservation project in Madagascar (a lemur jumped on my head, it was pretty cool)!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’m happy to teach a bit of Portuguese/English to my hosts! I enjoy cooking but will not be held responsible for any side effects that occur after eating my food 😄
