Overview
About Me
Oh hi!
I'm Annie, Montreal born and raised.
I'm studying International Politics at the time (a topic that is full of hope if there is one?), I love to knit, take care of my plants, read, talk to you (if you like, I also have that great capacity to enjoy silence with someone, if you feel like it I can show you. I believe it's terribly useful in human relations), have a beer (or an apple juice hey.), cycle around, shit talk on the patriarchy, imperialism, listen to the last Cat Empire album. You know, that kind of thing.
I love to dance while cooking or doing the dishes. I have pretty sick moves I've heard
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because hey.
I've been through the couch surfing thing before and I met marvellous people. I love to take time to learn to know someone and all that, share points of views (points of view from the other side of the planet, how cool and unique could that be? Think about it man/woman/you.), to hear funny stories, to discover another type of snorrrrrring in my living room.
You only get that while couch surfing.

Movies : Across the Universe, Captain Fantastic, Fantastic Mr. Fox is not bad, STAR WARS DUDE, STAR WARS.
Books : Andreï Makine is my favourite author, Romain Gary, Joe Sacco's comics, do you know « Jimmy Corrigan ; Smartest kid on Earth »? By Chris Ware? This is great.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been to a wedding in Cameroon. (It lasted four days, everybody was dressed the same, I cooked fish-heads for a whole day the day before, was terribly great, ate too much.)
I've also been to the African Cup of Ping Pong because I had a barmaid friend who was (I learned it the same day) captain of Cameroon Ping Pong National Team.
I studied at Joseph-Ki-Zerbo university of Ouagadougou for a summer semester!
I climbed the Great Wall of China. (It was cold tho, I was not dressed enough.)
I survived with a smile, for now, 21 winters in Montreal.
Teach, Learn, Share
