I am a 21 year old student from Los Angeles, California. I was born in Oregon and then moved to Sacramento, California where I grew up. I moved to Azusa in the Los Angeles area for university and have been studying there for three years. I am studying English Literature and Sociology and love reading, people, traveling, the outdoors, and dancing. I am very easygoing and excited to explore new places!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just finished a term abroad at Oxford University and am now traveling around Europe for about a month. I want to meet new people from other countries and learn more about the cities I am traveling to to enrich my travel experience and learn about other cultures and places! It would be incredible to meet new friends from around the world :)

I love all kinds of music! Some of my favorite books are Frankenstein, Jane Eyre, Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close, Harry Potter, and Mrs. Dalloway.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent 4 months living in Bass Lake, California just outside of Yosemite National Park in California. The program focused on outdoor experience and education in the humanities. We went rock climbing, kayaking, and hiking. I went on a week long backpacking trip in the mountains near Yosemite National Park in the winter. We were snowshoeing in very cold and snowy conditions. It was incredible, very difficult, and had some of the most beautiful views I have ever seen.
