Overview
About Me
I'm one of those people who doesn't like writing about themselves because it just feels so forced, but I should probably write a little at least. Please do message me if you want to know more and I'd be happy to share.
Anyways, I'm Annie and it already says somewhere up there that I'm a nursing student from Canada, so there's that.
I'd like to think that I'm friendly and outgoing and enthusiastic mostly. I have a tendency to think a lot and really enjoy conversing with others. I'm pretty easy going and can enjoy myself as long as there's good company. Anything from aimless strolling and chatting to a fun night out is great with the right people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Honestly, it's not really about saving the money but more about meeting and making connections with people while I'm travelling. Hostels are great, but I think getting to experience a city and culture with someone who knows and understands it would be a different kind of great.

Travelling, baking, cooking or anything to do with food, random meaningful conversations, learning anything new, reading, checking out quaint cafes and secondhand stores, strolling around outdoors, hiking, stargazing, marveling at nature.

Music, Movies, and Books
I can't pick favourites for the life of me. Currently in love with Tame Impala though, and mostly enjoy more chill, indie music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Nothing crazy or daring, but I think getting to study nursing is amazing for me. You get to learn so much about people and the cheesy nursing philosophies are right up my alley. Every time you get to connect with a patient and do the small (or big) things you can to care for them is amazing in its own way.
Teach, Learn, Share
Every person you meet is an opportunity to learn something new or gain a new perspective.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I don't feel like I have that many tangible skills to teach. Maybe we can make a pie or cake together if you're into that because please tell me you don't dislike pie?
But if that's the case, I am happy to share whatever else I can with you, whether it be my company or insight and conversation or random bits of scattered knowledge!
