I may could help about Kuala Lumpur attractions and interesting hidden gem/ hangout spots, as well as around Malaysia or SEA. Other info: Malaysian by citizenship, from Sarawak on Borneo Island, and an Iban of Dayak tribe (also known as the Headhunter).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Started with one of my bestie's birthday plan. She wanted to join CS event - CS Couch Crash and in order to register i decided to open up an account.
Usually travel solo and i made friends along the way... we could share ideas, culture, taste local food, exchange life stories, intellectual stuff, or even movies/ music..many other things. It will be fantastic if i can have companion/guide in some of the upcoming journey.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hmm... i think breakthrough to travel alone from someone that 'rather not eat my meal than have to eat alone in public' is one of amazing character development. That is the starting point and i have completed all ASEAN countries list.
Adrenaline things - skydiving, parasailing, paragliding, jump off 55ft waterfall while canyoneering, hiked highest Mt Kinabalu (highest in SEA) etc etc
Humanity - i helped someone to sobriety, inspired someone else to quit smoking, Joined local to build school building, repair shelter for rape victims.
Working life - I quit my first job without any financial security nor new job offer. now, i have survived years (3+ and counting...) as the only female engineer in the team, once i was PIC for offshore installation and dealt with pirate threats.
Teach, Learn, Share
Hope to learn swimming, one foreign language, sign language, cooking local food or anything local. I would love to learn better writing skills as well as entrepeneurship.
Foremost i come from one of the unique tribes in the world; we have our own language, culture, food, practices so i could share mine while you're sharing yours.
Teach Math and engineering! Kidding haha...
Along my trip i'd love to have a day or more to volunteer around (if there is any). I also done some talk/sharing sessions within Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar and Philippines. It's me that gain so much from the conversation.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a good listener:) Life experiences ; my tribe crafts (depend on my stock).. i can take photos but more into traveling photos instead of portrait.
