About Me
Hi! I'm Annie. I believe in southern hospitality, creating beautiful comfortable spaces, creating community wherever I'm at, and laughing. Like, a lot. I love learning bits and pieces of new languages, baking, hiking and exploring the outdoors...currently am a student frantically trying to juggle grad school, jobs, and some semblance of a social life. Colorado is so beautiful, and I'm so happy to be here, at least for a moment in time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love hosting, love learning from others, and have definitely been in that boat of not knowing anyone in a city and needing a place to stay on a really tight budget. It really makes a difference to see a friendly face along the journey; I'd love to make new friends along the way, both hosting and couchsurfing myself! A little nervous about the idea but am willing to give it a try. :)
Interests
Bluegrass music, ping pong (I have a table), spoken word, chai/coffeehouses, people who like dogs (although I don't have one right now), reading, running, eating macaroni and cheese like it's going out of style, dancing, international relations, social justice issues--especially women's/marginalized people groups' rights in the MENA region, fitness, dinosaurs.
