About Me

I am a film studies major. And I am on my way to be an independent film producer. Always enthusiastic about new things. Always wants to meet new people, learn new skills, try new things. I believe that every meet is a destiny and every meet means something to both of the persons. Never know who you will meet, what you will experience, and how your life will be in the next moment. So I love to enjoy my life and love everyone I meet!!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have heard of Couchsurfing before, but I never really though about actually try it until I met a cool girl who told me a lot of great stories and experience she had on Couchsurfing. I used to be a closed person who is afraid to meet people and things that I am not sure about, because my fear of the unknowns. But ever since I finished my journey in the United States and South Korea, I started to really appreciate the unknown things I have met. The fascination of the unknown world attracts me. I want to experience more. More people, more things, more of the world. Life is long and I dont even know what is going to happen for the next moment. Why not just go out and meet somebody new? And talk with new people and live in their space to experience their world which might be brand new comparing to mine.

My all time favorite Korean movie is---the Silenced
My favorite book: what are you talking about when we talk about love

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 12, one of my teacher told me my problem is that I have too much self-esteem. And I told him to never mind my business. And i think he is absolutely wrong.
When I was 15, I tried a sleeping method called "the da Vinci sleeping method" that for every 4 hours, I sleep 15min. So every day I only slept 1.5hrs. I approved that this method does work! For 2 months, I lived with this schedule. And I realized how can da Vinci invent and create that many things---he had so much time to spend!
I quit my job all the time as soon as I realize my boss is a idiot.
I lived in California for 4 years. And the first year, I chose to not make any friend. I didn't had a phone number. I didn't talk with any classmate after class. And I proved that I can survive without socializing with anyone. Hahahah! But not now:))

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Sichuan food!!! If you love spicy!!
I can teach you Korean food!!! If you love kimchi!!
I can teach you Korean:) Mandarin
We can talk about films~ and my experience in California and Seoul.
Filmmaking and Korean drama can be my lifetime topic. Hahahah

What I Can Share with Hosts

To be honest, I don't know what I can share with the hosts. I am new to Couchsurfing. But I do have a lot of interests and hobbies. And I can talk about a lot of different topics with anyone:))) And I can share my honesty with you. Yes, honesty. Since honesty is the thing I keep to carry on with my life, I can share it with you for no problem. But I know, sadly not everyone has honesty anymore.
I grew up in a never traditional family in China. The more I grew up, the more I felt I am so different from the most. I don't think I have some big achievements in my life, but I am always doing things I want to do. I lost the hope of the world since I was in my elementary school, but I keep my hope with me until now. Hahahaha! Problematic~struggling~~ but I kinda enjoyed it.
It is just life.
