Overview
About Me
Intrepid, earth-loving hiker; friendly, independent, eternally curious. Personal motto: test your limits, know your boundaries, and mostly say yes to adventure. I like nearly anything that involves moving around outdoors, though these days I'm usually reading or writing for school.
I'm entering my second year of study earning a Master's of Science in Geography and TAing atmospheric science labs at the University of Alabama; I moved here for school after working with Fish and Game in Alaska for a spell. I'm studying human-wildlife coexistence and I'm psyched that I've built my research around so many elements I love. I WILL at some point talk to you about bears.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to travel, and help others travel, more deeply; not only to see a place and it's people but to get a chance to know them.
I get to hike and travel for my thesis research and I'm hoping to make new friends along the way.
