About Me

Unbelievable how always awkward it is to speak about yourself.

I am an easy-going, out-going, etc-going type of person, who may seem shy at first but... when I get out of my shell - and I always do - I can start being comfortable, making funny jokes, making akward jokes and talk about everything and listen about everything.
Yes, it is true, I am open-minded. Shutting yourself easily to any type of experience or possibility of learning more...is kind of the worst thing to do in general. So I always make sure to stop myself from judging too quickly and to... let it be ! Quite simple to achieve ;)

I'm friendly and curious, and I always want everyone to be in a good mood. I like helping people, being generous, and do simple actions to everyone, simply to make their day better !

My current mission is....
Amaze myself.

Oh and here goes the cliché ending : "You'll have to meet me to know me best !"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been on Couchsurfing for a couple of years now. At first because I wanted to host crazy travellers since I could not travel that much myself. And I have host some by the past, and meet a lot of couchsurfers from all around the word. Thinking that I have friends now in countries that I haven't even visited yet is simply amazing !
I also surfed a bit on strangers' couch during most of my trips. I am so grateful that this website is offering me so many friendships around the globe :)

I can converse on many different subjects, since I don't like to limit myself. I want to discover everything, everytime and everywhere !

Music, Movies, and Books

I love every. damn. type. of music. All of them. Show it to me, I will surely like it. Maybe not adoooore it. But every music genre has its own vibe, which that I like. Open your mind to any style of music and you can be so amazed !
I really cannot say I have a preference. One day I can listen to the best funk ever, and the other to dark rock legends. Who knows!

I've studied in cinema so yeah. I kinda like it very much. Kinda. Yeah. A lot actually. Movies that put you to the edge of your seat are the best. In fact, the best movies are the ones where the end credits appear on the screen and you're still going "woah" on the sofa. Those are the movies I like.
Otherwise, I like every single Wes Anderson's movies.

Aaaand I've studied litterature too. And when you end a book and you are still in your little bubble, and press it to your chest for a moment, because you just finished reading something beautiful... Yessss those are the books I like.
Like "Anna and Mister God" by Fynn or Laurent Gaudé's ones.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

+ Swimming in the perfect, purest, crystal-clear water of the Plitvice Lakes, near the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Plitvicka Jezera National Park, in Croatia.

+ Travelling by myself (and getting lost) in Belgium and Germany (an achievement i am really proud of!)

+ Playing football with locals, soaking wet, during a huge rainstorm in a small rural village in Altamira de Biolley, Costa Rica.

+ Paragliding through the French Alps !

Teach, Learn, Share

I crave for knowledge. I get those sparkly eyes when I am learning something new. Travel experiences are so fascinating ! Tell me more about it. Yes, I may get jealous of the amazing trips you've done but who cares. I wanna know!

I can teach you a bit of ukulele (but I am a beginner myself), I can tell you how to cook the best typical Quebecer or Acadian meals, I can do a hairwrap or even a dreadlock in your hair (I have a few myself) if you are feelin the hippie groove... and I can tell you a lot about Quebec and Canada, especially if you come in Quebec. Actually I studied in Tourism and am also a certified tour guide of the city so.. yeah it kinda helps. ;)

We can share between each other our amazing travel and life experiences. Always appreciated :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

- Tourism info from around the globe (especially Quebec)
- Ukulele tips
- Cinema & Litterature knowledge
- Tea time !
- Bracelet, hairwrap, dreadlocks
