About Me

I've got a cozy little apartment with a great view. Ample driveway space for truck campers and vanlifers with some shoveling help in the winter, as well as a daybed in the living room, and an old school '76 chevy camper van/guest house. I recently adopted an 8 year old pitbull with some quirks but he's a lovable land manatee when you get to know him. I do ask my couchsurfers to respect that they are in his space and behave accordingly- if you don't like dogs, particularly large pitbulls, this might not be the space for you.

NO SUNDANCE HOSTING
NO SEASONAL WORKERS/LONG TERM

My home is well set up for skiers/riders/bikers/hikers looking for a short term, last minute place to stay between turns and miles on the mountain. Adult beverages are enjoyed in moderation, but my place is not for partiers or late night comings and goings. I have a full time job and appreciate my home to rest and recover from an active life. I do not host Sundance visitors under any circumstances.

These days I'm a big backcountry snowboarder and mountain biker. In the past I've walked across the US a few times, and before that I avoided winter by surfing in warmer places during the cold.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've received plenty of hospitality from strangers over the years and I'd like to give back what I can. I like having a travelers mentality even when not traveling, and sharing stories, meals, and laughs.
