About Me
CURRENT MISSION
meeting people, learning cultures and making long-term contacts
ABOUT ME
I'm new to travelling about but as they say, once you've been bitten by the travel bug it's hard to be cured. I want to meet people who can teach me about their cultures. I study literature, maths and physics and am passionate about the arts (literature, theatre, fine arts), history and charitable works.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I study in Sydney but am in Colombo, Sri Lanka often during Dec-Feb and July to visit my parents and because it's technically (and emotionally) 'home' for me. I unfortunately haven't been able to host anyone but hopefully will be able to soon in Sydney. I cannot host in Colombo, however.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had my first couchsurfing experience in april 2011 and it was lovely ! All the places I've stayed over have been absolutely lovely and the people I've met along the way have been great. I managed to have one exchange where a Toulousain came to La Rochelle and I showed him around and I hope to do that again with others interested in La Rochelle or Sydney, when I am back in Australia.
I recently made a trip around the north of france too where I stayed with someone different each night - AMAZING experience with all the people I met!
