ABOUT ME

Hi!
My name is Annie. I'd more likely want to get to know you but I guess I'll let you know a little bit about me. I hail from a pretty tourist-y town called Huntington Beach in California. I love it here but am looking for new surroundings. I've grown up in a pretty adventurous family and love to hike, go camping and backpacking.
I'm available to host you and your friends or just hang out if you want to! I'm working right now but have a lot of spare time to show you around.

I live my life for me, but I try to please others as much as possible. Life is meant to be shared with the people you love.

Right now I'm still pretty new, like I said. But I'm always up for meeting new people from all over and sharing all of our great traveling experiences! You can always feel free to send me a message and maybe we can hang out and I can show you around my cool city!
I've only been active on this site for a few months, but I've already hosted heaps of people and have had a blast learning to surf, taking long bike rides, and meeting people from all over the world.

Interests

I'm currently going to school to be a kindergarten teacher. I love kids, traveling, the mountains, beach, and just everything outdoors. Traveling is my passion and I want to see as much as this beautiful Earth as possible. I love to document my travels, even if all I have is a crappy camera phone to do it with.

I enjoy reading and learning as much as I can fit into my noggin as possible. Hemingway, Poe, Steinbeck, David Sedaris are some of my favorites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've jumped off a waterfall in Yosemite, climbed down Mt. Baldy during one of the worst snow storms in years, and came across a couple of wild horses mating near a stream in the San Gabriel Mountains. That last story will be passed down to my grandkids and their kids for generations.
