I'm currently workin on my PhD and don't have as much time as I would like for travelling, but I try my best to squeeze in exploration whenever I can.

I currently live in Trondheim, Norway after spending approx. 4 years in Thailand.

I love riding horses and spending time around animals in general. I've worked with a range of different animals both in Norway and abroad. I'm currently chair of the charity "For Tigers", working towards better welfare conditions for captive tigers in Thailand.

I also try to stay active, and spend some time in the gym as well as doing yoga. Current goal is to be able to do the primary series of Ashtanga, which is still not entirely within reach!

I travel both impulsively and for specific reasons, such as going to concerts or festivals.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been on couchsurfing for a few years now, and had some great experiences with the people I've met here. I've only hosted once, and sadly am not able to host at the moment because of my living situation.

I've met up with couchsurfers in different parts of the world, and always had great experiences. Beers in Thailand, cheese and wine and 80's movies in bed i Amsterdam, tea and philosophy inTurkey - you name it.

Interests

Riding, music, photography (not very good at it though..), travelling, learning new languages, meeting new people and getting to know cultures far away from my own. Oh yeah, and I'm one of those weird cat ladies..
