ABOUT ME

i'm not good in writing about myself. i think. all i can say is, i'm weird. crazy at times. but generally fun to be around with! i love travelling, i don't like to be locked up in a room.
music is my life. and so is photography and writing! i'm a journalism student, 2nd last semester now and even though uni can be boring at times it truly is what i want to do in life! :)
i have a weird and unexplainable passion for the USA- well not so unexplainable really. my best friend in kindergarten/high school was american and- i miss him dearly. plus i have LOADS of friends in the states that i miss. good excuse?! no? lol.

anyway- get to know me, i might be shy in the beginning but once i fully open up you wish i'd stayed that shy! ;-)

currently i'm living in camden town, london. such a hectic place- but i fit in, i think. my heart belongs to the states though; los angeles/las vegas to be exact... guess sooner or later friends and family here in europe will have to visit me in the us! but for now i enjoy travelling as much as i can.. exploring the UK and europe is fun, but the next BIGGER travel plan will be THE BIG APPLE in october. if anyone's around the last week of october please let me know :D i'll be travelling with 2 friends from germany, so i know crashing at someone's place will be tricky but maybe we're lucky enough to find 1 o 2 people willing to lend us their couch/mattress/floor for a week and for a fun time altogether ;-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i'm not the biggest couchsurfer YET! my first experience was in spring 2009 when i stayed at katya's place in tampere for a few days and it was FUN!
and i've met a few couchsurfers in helsinki at marja's place and it was just as fun as being a couchsurfer myself! i'm excited to get into this whole couchsurfing experience even more!

uhhhhh... many things actually... music (it's just my passion), movies, jogging or playing tennis, meeting friends and new people and well... going to concerts or to clubs and having a good time and for sure: travelling!

thriller, crime movies are wonderful but basically i'm watching all types of movies -fear and loathing in las vegas, american history x, fight club, pulp fiction, saw, any johnny depp movie -really anything!

music well... rock music. metal music. 50's/60's. blues (dad was an old blues buff/musician)... classic at times. i even listen to the radio while at work, lol. anything basically- anything that feels good to me! i don't judge on other people's preferences.

books... i love the books of harlan coben, leena lehtolainen, taavi soininvaara and minette walters e.g.
