About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To inspire and be inspired

ABOUT ME

I am creative, curious and spontaneous. After finishing my studies, I set out to go experience what life could be like in Copenhagen, a city that I find inspiring on so many levels. With an open mind, I seek to discover the hidden jewels of Denmark and the neighboring countries.

Although I am not the loudest extrovert person, I really enjoy meeting new people, sharing experiences, exchanging ideas, opinions and laughter!

PHILOSOPHY

Wonderful things will happen

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm looking forward to a first experience with Couchsurfing!

Interests

I'm interested in architecture and the subtle art of city making. I enjoy walking/biking around neighborhoods and trying to understand their unique character. I always go around with a notebook and a camera, sketching and taking notes about things that inspire me, immortalizing the things and moments that bring me joy.

Although I'm a city girl, I find the Northern landscapes utterly romantic, sublime, exquisitely dramatic and I have enjoyed discovering them in any way I can: boat, hiking, train, bike, car.

As a dancer/yogi, I'm also interested in performance arts. From the conventional ballet to the immersive, experimental pieces, I enjoy everything that involves the body and it's amazing capacities.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Into the Wild, Biutiful, The perks of being a wall-flower, The Black Swan, Chasing Ice, Babel, In a better world, to name only a few.. I discovered Miyazaki recently and I love his beautiful, touching animation films.

Music: Right now I'm all about soft, folk, winter sounds. But I would say I have very varied taste in music and I'm always interested in discovering new sounds, wether it's by attending a show in a small venue or following some of my knowledgeable friends' recommendations.

BOOKS (I LOVE books): Barrico, Jón Kalman Stefánsson, Éric Plamondon, Tomas Tranströmer, Kundera, Borges. As much as I enjoy a great story, sometimes I also like to simply get carried away by an author's prose, unexpected structures or delirious poetry.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taking a boat tour under heavy rain in the Fjords around Bergen: it was dramatic, it was beautiful.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could talk forever about architecture and design, I could teach you dance and yoga moves.. or to speak French!

I would like to learn about the way people live in your city, about the little stories that make up it's identity.
