About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To experience the many wonders this world has to offer... And sometime they are people!

ABOUT ME

I love to explore new countries and learn about new cultures, and meet people! It's amazing how you can have such a great time with people you've just met.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had my first couchsurfing experience in Greece in 2014, and it was simply amazing! Meeting very fun open-minded people, and seeing the city through locals was great. And you make new friends!

In the summer of 2016, I traveled 3 months in Europe, and couchsurfed in a few cities. I had positive and memorable experience, and this made my solo trip so much more amazing! :)
I traveled another 5 months in 2017, in Europe, northern Africa and Thailand.

Living in the Yukon, I hosted more than 20 travelers was so enriched by wonderful couchsurfing experiences. Moved back to Montréal just before the pandemic.

Interests

I enjoy many outdoor activities such as canoeing, cycling, hiking and camping (even in winter!). I also enjoy traveling (of course) and I have done a few trips so far over the years, and intend on doing more in the futur!

I like being involved in my community and doing volunteering for different organisations, like for humans rights or to help end extreme poverty. I has lucky enough to have a great start in life, and I want to give back to the ones who didn't have that chance. I also find that volunteering for community events is a great way to spend your time and meet new people. I had the chance to volunteer for the Yukon Quest, a international dog-sled race, and for a unique festival in Whitehorse, the Sourdough Rendezvous, and both were great!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: La vita è bella, Avatar, Beauty and the Beast, Into the wild, Incendies, etc.
Books: Harry Potter, Agatha Christie, historic novels
Music: The Beatles, Adele, Tryo, Jack Johnson, Jason Mraz, Mumford and son, and many many others. I enjoy a lot of music groups from Québec, such as Les cowboys fringants, Kain, Mes aieux, Fred Pellerin, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on a trip to Morocco a few years ago that was an amazing experience. We took jeeps out to the desert, and then slept there in tents. The next morning we woke up early and watched the sunrise on the sand dunes. It was spectacular!

I flew in a air balloon in capadoccia, Turkey!

Hopped on the back of a motorcycle with a complete stranger, in Paris, for a short ride. The guy was nice, and didn't seem creepy. Why not?

Tried hiking to the Magic bus, in Alaska, the bus from Into the wild. Unfortunately, it wasn't the two icy rivers to cross that stopped us from getting to the bus, but swampy terrain and a lack of a good topo map. It was still amazing !

What I Can Share with Hosts
