ABOUT ME

Hello! My name's Annie and I am a 22-year-old musician, artist and adventurer! I fell in love with couch surfing during my European backpacking trip in 2013. Currently, I just got back from travelling through India working with Women Empowerment NGOs and filming a documentary about the women of India!

I love adventures and am a little bit of an adrenaline junkie. When someone tells me I shouldn't do something, I make sure I do it twice haha

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Surfing on the Gulf of Munnar in southern India.

Meeting up with a group of film makers in Mumbai to participate in the 48 hour film project!

Managing to survive the local Mumbai train...

Feeling the energies and vibrations from an elephant in Jaipur, India!

When I was in Ireland, I got to see the Cliffs of Moher and got the courage to sit on the edge and dangle my feet! It was absolutely incredible and peaceful... I beat my fear of heights and felt invincible!!

I shared a pint and a lovely conversation with Danny O'Donoghue (lead singer of The Script) at a wicked pub in Dublin!

I worked as an au pair in England and looked after the sweetest little girl ever who now calls me her big sister!

When I was in Paris, I played lots of open mics and met some amazing musicians!!

I rode a motorbike for the first time in Italy and am now determined to buy my own!

Making Italian pizza from scratch was incredible...

While busking in Venezia, a big school group from France stopped to listen and sat in a circle around me for half an hour while I played my music! It was amazing :)

I have busked in London, Dublin, Genoa, Venezia, and Trieste, Ljubljana, Porec, Pula, Split, Dubrovnik, Zagreb, Munich, Stuttgart, & Tübigen

Hitchhiking all throughout Croatia and getting dropped off in some obscure little villages in the middle of no where!

I fell in love with an amazing group of people in Zagreb and lived with them for a couple weeks before I had to move on and say goodbye!

I managed to hitch hike from Germany through Luxembourg, Belgium and France to England in time for my flight back to Canada!! It was definitely the best way to finish my nine month european trip!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am always looking for new recipes to learn and hear about how others view the world!
I can teach you some bits on the guitar, some crazy dance moves and I am always happy sharing my philosophy and beliefs :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am very very very low maintenance and also love to cook so if you don't mind sharing your kitchen with me, we can swap recipes!

I also love to play music and sing at all times so if you need a lullaby or a serenade, I'm your girl!
