About Me
CURRENT MISSION
You're alright but I'm here darling to enjoy the party!
ABOUT ME
I love dancing to wedding music, chocolate chip cookies and coloring books. I am from California but living in Madrid. I am an American teaching British English to Spanish students-it is definitely an experience. I am obsessed with language so if you speak anything besides English, I will probably harass you to teach me at least 5 new words (watch out you French people, you're next on my list). I have recently taken up coffee- the only solution I could find to keeping up with teaching ESL to 5 year-olds, so if you would like to meet for some, contact me! Also, I have found that alcoholic beverages also take off the edge, so I am down for that too.
PHILOSOPHY
"That's what life is. It's a series of rooms. And who we get stuck in those rooms with adds up to what our lives are." (Insert: "couches," where appropriate)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am hoping to host people in Madrid for coffee or drinks, as right now I don't have a couch to offer! Also, I would love to surf on yours (I am from California afterall).
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have had few CS experiences but so far they have all been great. Whether it has been meeting people in Madrid for drinks or CS elsewhere, it has been incredible! Can't wait to continue!

Music, Movies, and Books
See: all romantic comedies ever made. Also, Donnie Darko, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I love country music, popular music, oldies and goodies, spanish popular music, any songs from the Flamenco, Flamenco soundtrack, also anything you can sing and/or dance too.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I am totally put to shame by all the couch surfers of the world- seriously, I thought I was pretty cool until I started reading some profiles. But, for me, the most amazing thing I have done is move to Spain for 2 years. I know, it's no Mt. Everest, but I think when I'm 80 it will be the thing I am most proud of.
Teach, Learn, Share
All I know is what my 5 year old students have shown me: we are capable of anything we put our mind to; self doubt is our greatest obstacle.
