About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to work less and explore the world

ABOUT ME

I am a 44 yo outgoing physician. The best times I have while traveling are when I meet the people who are from those areas. Certainly I can stay in nice hotels, but but I much prefer to mingle with locals to get a true sense of the culture and people of the region. My work schedule is very varied, so if you come and visit, sometimes I'll be around and other times, I'll be occupied with work. I am very easy going and get along with just about anyone from all walks of life. Come and visit. I live within walking distance from the beach, and also the coaster ( local train to downtown).

PHILOSOPHY

Live every day to it's fullest. You never know when this day might be your last.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Offer a place for travelers to stay, but you cannot smoke or be a smoker. And you must be ok with two cats.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed a few times now, and have nothing but positive things to say.

Interests

I like most sports and exercising, surfing, cycling,boogie-boarding, going to the gym, dancing, or just relaxing at home, cooking in, or watching a video. I am outgoing, adventuresome, and very easy to get along with.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't really read much besides travel magazines and medical journals, but I enjoy watching movies, especially comedy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The world of the operating room has to be the most amazing part of my life. As for travels, scuba diving in the Great Barrier reef was amazing. Living in Australia during it's 200 anniversary celebration year was also something not to be missed. As for musicians, seeing Paul McCartney and The Police perform live was a true highlight. As for my own challenges, riding 100 miles on bicycle in a day was enough to wipe me out.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Jamaica, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, New Zealand, Slovenia, Turkey, United Kingdom, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

Australia, United States
