About Me

I'm from New York and always wanted to travel to new places, especially to countries like India, Tibet, and Vietnam. I love meeting new people and listening to their stories and their experiences. I don't have much money now, so once a month, I travel to a different state in the U.S. for a weekend to help with my itch for more travel.

I started doing this in January 2015. I've been to Philadelphia, Boston, Columbus, Binghamton, and Edison. I've created so many happy memories through these trips and made new friends via couch surfing. I feel like the people on here are so authentic and I can have deep connections with many people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people through here who can show and tell me a bit about their city.
I used couch surfing as a guest before, but I'm starting college soon and I'm quitting my job. So since I don't have much money or time at the moment to travel, I'll be a host because I want to meet other travelers and hear their wonderful stories. And who knows, maybe some people will end up being life long friends.

Interests

-I enjoy exercising. I dance, ride my bike, run by the beach.
-I also like to sew and tailor my own clothes. I don't like the quality of cheap clothes and I like being different, so I make some clothes on my own.
-Also, I'm interested in healthy living and nutrition. So I read whatever I can get my hands on when it comes to that and I try to implement the things I read into my life.
-I am into public speaking and am a member of my local Toast Masters International club.
-I love personal development. I love to read blogs and books about it and listen to audio courses created by famous coaches like Tony Robbins.
-I like to volunteer. I assist for a non profit organization called Landmark Worldwide.
-My dream is to become a public speaker known all over the world, who teaches others how to manage their personal finances and have the possibility of becoming financially free.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I taught myself how to code so that I could design a website for my former boss last year.

Teach, Learn, Share

The skills I could teach and share are mainly cooking and baking from scratch. It's something I love and I think food is something that everyone can relate to.
I'm also an exercise fanatic so I can share tips on fitness too.
