ABOUT ME

I love movies, music, art, improv comedy, theater, everything! I just finished studying to be a playwright but I practice many other art forms. You should check out my website to find out more about that: www.annielesser.com

I have taught children English in China; Studied in China; Studied in Prague; Lived in Amsterdam; and currently reside in the heart of Hollywood.

I grew up in Chicago, IL and love that city more than anywhere else in the world. I have lived, worked, and studied in New York on and off all my life and love that city as well.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am available to show people a good time in whatever city I'm living in and when I have a couch I am eager to provide it as a place for someone to lay his or her head.

I also sleep on others couches.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch surfed two times now, both were great.
I have shown a couple people around my cities.
And I have made some amazing friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Vienna I went on a carnival swing, the kind where it lifts you in the air as you sit in a chair and spins you in a circle so it feels as if you are flying. This swing was no ordinary carnival swing, this one went about 100 meters in the air. I felt as if I was gliding through the sky of Vienna as all the sounds melted away and the cool air embraced me. It was the most serene experience I have had in my entire life.

Teach, Learn, Share

Do not text while on a train, tram, or bus when your stop is coming up. You will likely leave something behind. That is how I lost my favorite sweater and scarf in Paris and Prague respectively.
