CURRENT MISSION
Travel, Eat, Sleep, SMILE!
ABOUT ME
Hm... I'm a friendly city girl who loves a bit of everything! My favorite pastime... Coffee+Cake+Conversation. I love spending time to get to know someone and their real life... no superficial stuff please! I will be graduating with a BA in Sociology and go into Global Public Health for masters in a year or two. I am very approachable and friendly. One thing you will find me doing... is smiling! My coworkers thought I was crazy when I walk into work at 6AM with the biggest smile and have it last until 6pm!
PHILOSOPHY
Don't worry about tomorrow. Tomorrow will worry about itself!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've been trying to get my first CS host, but everyone is travelling or back home from the end of school term! OH SNIFFLES! >.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've met some of THE nicest and most hospitable people ever! As one of my dear CS mates states it... it balances out the whole world by passing on LOVE to another CSer then passing on LOVE to the next and so on! =) I have to admit that I didn't expect to have such a great time when I first tried it out... but it's so fun and adventurous!
Interests
sing, read, run, nerd it out anywhere I go =)
Honestly for fun... I like to go jogging (If I'm in NYC... then it's Williamsburg Bridge into Chinatown and up into 34th street Herald Square... Since I'm in Oxford, I've jogged to Oxford City Centre 6:30 in the morning, down Oxford Canal, to the University Parks).
On the following day... because of soreness/laziness/amazing weather... I just sit in the sun and read and tan. (too bad the good Oxford weather comes and goes)
I also LOVE karaoke, which you can find everywhere in NYC, but nowhere in Oxford... =(
Starting to learn how to cook too! Starting off with korean food... My parents cook amazing Chinese food, so it would be a joke if I attempted to make a Chinese dinner for them!

Music, Movies, and Books
Stiff-Mary Roach (about cadavers and what happens to them when you donate to science), An Intimate Geography- Natalie Angier(about biological changes of females from egg to menopause... hilarious author of the NYTimes), Pathologies of Power- Paul Farmer (global health and social justice),... lot of non fiction stuff I guess!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Help build a strong foundation for a resource center for youth.
Teach, Learn, Share
Perhaps an inkling of Global Inequality, culture in the US, I can try to teach you a bit of spoken Cantonese... but it has 9 tones! O_O Do a duet with you because I love to sing ehhehehe
