Hi! My name is Annie and I love meeting people and learning about other cultures.

I'm outgoing, friendly, and talkative. I love food. I love ice cream, dancing for fun, singing, and dumplings.

I don't drink and am more the type of person to explore and learn about culture rather than partying and spending money.

PHILOSOPHY

If I had to choose a motto I would choose this quote: "Enjoy the little things, for one day you may realize they were the big things."

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My style of traveling is definitely learning more and immersing myself in the culture. I hate being the cliche tourist and just looking at sites. My favorite thing is to learn about the people. They are my passion.

We're excited to meet interesting and cultured individuals :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Love it! My favorite aspect of couchsurfing if it is able to happen is the hosts showing their city to me and letting me learn more about it. Totally understandable if they can't show me themselves. I just like learning the secrets that I otherwise wouldn't get to learn about.

Music-wise I like acoustic/chill music and whenever I play guitar I love to just strum some basic chords and relax.

TEACHING. I taught 5th grade reading and also was an Assistant Principal. It is a challenge but it is also the most amazing thing I can say I've done so far.

Giving and caring people. People who will go out of their way to make sure you have a good experience either way. Because I would do it for them, it's nice when they do it for me.

Also, I like people who like to learn and understand more things. Love to life talk with them.
