About Me
Hello! I'm Anniina and I am living in Brussels with my Belgian boyfriend Matthias. We would like to meet new people who enjoy having a laugh and have the courage to share their view of the world with a stranger.
Both of us enjoy travelling, trying new restaurants, cooking, playing board games and going to museums and concerts. We also like geeky stuff and tattoos.
I have hosted people through Couchsurfing and visited some CS events in Helsinki. I loved how Couchsurfing brought the world to me, even when I wasn't able to travel myself. Luckily I was also able to experience the other side while travelling for a year in Australia and USA 2015-2016.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I started hosting in Fall 2014. It's been a wonderful and fun experience. Couchsurfing is a great way to meet people around the world! It was encouraging and motivating to meet people who travelled themselves, since it made it feel more possible for myself too. And then I made it happen and left Finland for a while, and I was lucky enough to find someone, who is as eager to travel and share that with me.
We have been couchsurfers in Adelaide, Gold Coast and Sydney. The latter ended up being a pet/house sitting gig for several months.
After a year of travelling we ended up living in Brussels, Belgium.
