Hi
My name is Annika, I'm 23 years old. I study Aeronautics and space in Germany and I love travelling with friends, especially with my boyfriend Jan. He is also a student and 24 years old.

We like to spend time with friends, doing sports and see the world while we are young. Therefore we started a trip around the world in 2015 for half a year. On this trip we visited 13 countries and met a lot of cool people from all over the world. While talking to all of these people we recognized that we don't know our own continent. That's the reason we started travelling through Europe whenever time allows.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think couchsurfing is a good thing for travellers to get around the world, meet new People (sometimes perhaps new Friends) and to get an insight to the different cultures all around the earth.

On our journey we did not try couchsurfing that often, because we were a bit scared and always spent only one night at one place with a very busy timetable. In the very end of the trip we tried couchsurfing in the U.S. and it was amazing! Such a great expierience so that we really want to host people and get around.
