Hm, I don't really like writing about myself, but I will give it a try!! I am an open-minded, relaxed, curious and adventurous person. I enjoy traveling, being outside, doing sports, hiking, camping (with the right conditions, which are neither in Western Australia in summer nor 200km north of the polar circle :D) and meeting new people. I completed a Bachelor in Engineering Science in Munich and figured out that I don't want to be an engineer. So I started studying medicine last year.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started couchsurfing two years ago in Australia, while traveling the East and the West Coast with two friends and we had an amazing time. We met so many great people and had a lot of fun. Last year I was on a road trip driving around the Baltic sea and couchsurfed again. I think it is a great opportunity to travel and get to know a country and its people in a completely different way. Just staying in hostels/hotels/camping, you miss out on getting to know amazing people!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I couldn't choose a single experience, but the road trip to Scandinavia is for sure one of them! Hiking at the Lofoten, swimming in the ocean 170km north of the polar circle, camping outside at temperatures between 7 and 36 degrees... But also a semester abroad in Australia, a voluntary service in Ghana, traveling in Myanmar, some stunning hikes in the Alps and starting to climb deserve to be on the list!
