Overview
About Me
I am a 19 year old German girl, who is travelling around Australia at the moment. I want to study psychology next year, when I'm back from Australia, as I always wanted to help people in difficult situations. I am a very friendly and open-minded person, who likes to learn about other cultures. You can have lots of fun with me, as I am very adventureous and enjoy a good chat. I am always very positive and in a good mood, but no partygirl anyway. I like to spend a nice evening together, but I am not the type of person who likes to get drunk.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am doing work and travel in Australia at the moment and have already met so many great people! Ich love to share my stories and experiences with everyone who is interested and would be really happy to meet more new people. I want to learn as much about Australia and its culture as possible! In return I would be very happy to tell you what I know about German culture, cooking vor whatever you are interested in. Hopefully I will have some great experiences :)
Interests
I guess I'm interested in a lot of things. I love cooking and I'm reading a lot. Also I have a dog and I'm doing some dog sports with her and sometimes take part on a little competition. I really like photography, but I guess I'm not really a pro :P Oh and I'm playing the piano for quite a long time, I guess for about 11 years. I like horses and animals and nature in general and enjoy trips to beautiful spots.
Music, Movies, and Books
I don't really have a favourite kind of music. I mostly listen to what's popular at the Moment, but I am really open-minded.
I am reading mostly fantasy books, my favourites are the sarcastic ones.
Except of horror movies and too boring comedys I like nearly every type of movies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Driving around Lake District in UK, while it's raining all the time, and taking gorgeous pictures of the landscape.
Also celebrating Christmas with a completely foreign family, who made me feel so welcome and like a part of the family, although we never met before. That was one of the happiest days I had so far on my journey through Australia.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Time with a fun and friendly person! Some nice evenings and interesting talks! And hopefully new perpectives on life :) I think travelling is learning about life. A way of education. I would love to share my knowledge and beliefs with you and hear about yours ;)
