About Me

I am a 20 year old German traveler that has spent the last 2 years of her life living in Vancouver, BC and traveling around Canada and the US. To prepare for my upcoming Undergrad studies of Tourism and Management @ Inholland University in Diemen, I just recently moved back to Europe and have been traveling Germany since.

I am an easy-going, undemanding, clean guest that is most of all interested in connecting with all kinds of people, sharing experiences and learning from each other.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am currently looking for a host in Amsterdam, preferably close to Diemen in the month of May so I can establish myself and hopefully find a room in the crazy Amsterdam housing market, as I am excited to move there as soon as possible.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is a big part of my life even though my taste is not very specific. I love most kinds of music depending on my mood, but tend to lean towards indie, rock and some dancy tunes. I play the ukulele and guitar (badly) and am always down to jam!

My favourite book franchise will always be Harry Potter, but I am currently reading a novel called 'The Salt Road' that has me wanting to explore Morocco.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I first moved to Vancouver, I had a horrible experience with a roommate I met off Craigslist, long story short, I had to move out of there in the span of 2 days. A lovely Couchsurfing host took me in and we spent a great few days together, which I will be forever grateful for.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to share my skills in English, German, killer breakfast foods, guitar, ukulele and photography.

I am always interested in learning about and discussing politics, other cultures, travel, photography and dope spots in the city.

Would love to meet people willing to teach me Dutch, as that's my first priority right now!
