About Me

It would be interesting to explore this, as I have had many people stay and stayed with others and gotten friends that way. I'm finding it so fascinating to read other profiles and it is inspiring to know that people connect in this way, something I see as kind and giving and sharing of ourselves as humans.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To make friends while staying in another town, and expose my children to the many wonderful and interesting people on our planet. To learn about what others do and have done.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love most kinds of music, both modern and older. Movies and books too. I recently enjoyed two Swedish films; the 100 year old man movies and Bonus familjen ( which is a series). A Norwegian - Swedish collaboration called In order of disappearance ( kraft idioten) which is a very dark comedy that I can truly recommend - if you are ok reading subtitles and enjoy dark humor. I watched "stranger things" and am a fan, and am very open minded in my taste.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving ( not tandem). Saving a passenger on a plane when I worked as a flight attendant changed my life I would say, as some of those experiences shared with others can do - even with a stranger.

Teach, Learn, Share

Alternative health and healing; I have been there done that with a lot of it, and can share of my own experiences, yet am always interested of what others have done or are doing. I am a trained hypnotherapist as well as a colon hydrotherapist, and love to take life less seriously than it often is. With a love of learning every day, I value open mindedness and am non judgmental in my approach to life and living.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have lived in a few different countries and worked as a flight attendant and an actor, which is something I can share. I have met and know a lot about other cultures and people, and would call myself an international people person. Our family is very creative and my teen daughters like art, acting, film, video, photography and traveling to mention a bit. We are 80% or so gluten free, dairy free vegan, but mainly out of supporting animals and not supporting an industry that treats others unfairly ( in this case animals). We have to be creative with food and can share a lot about alternative health and healing and other interests like that.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cabo Verde, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Saint Martin (French part), Singapore, Spain, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Turkey, Vatican City State
