I am a traveling photographer and painter from New York. I've lived a pretty nomadic lifestyle and hope to continue traveling around the world. Thus far, I've seen some amazing places and met some incredible people throughout the US, South America, and Europe. Three countries I would love to visit in the future are Russia, Japan, and Iceland.

Traveling is integral to my work as an artist. However, the term "starving artist" is a truth I've learned to accept. I always travel on a tight budget, and oftentimes that means that the luxuries of hotels and air travel are out of the question. In addition to the awesome benefit of meeting some great people, couchsurfing allows me to ask questions about places to go and how to get there. I also can't explain enough the positive impact that complete strangers have had on my travels, whether by offering a couch to crash on or dishing out the best food joints in town.

兴趣

I enjoy visiting national parks and museums and going to concerts (large and small) while I travel. When I can, I also love to get involved in community events and organizations. Traveling is a privilege that can be taken for granted so easily, so I hope to always gain new perspectives with regards to community, volunteer work, money, preservation, and tourism, all of which shape my relationship with the people I meet around the world. Ultimately, I hope to have a positive impact wherever I go; however, I am aware that that is not always possible, and I appreciate conversations that help illuminate any implications in my choices to travel.

I can share great company and food! I am also incredibly respectful of people's space and homes. It is not my right in the slightest to overstep my boundaries while enjoying the hospitality of those sharing their home/time with me. I will follow any rules you might have. (I do expect respect in return...anyone who thinks they can take advantage of me will not be tolerated)
