I am a 24 year old Recreation student currently going to school at Western Washington University. I enjoy travelling, music, working with children and animals, and almost anything outdoors! In the past 2 years, I have had opportunities to travel to New Zealand for a solo backpacking trip, and to complete an outdoor education course at a school in Sogndal, Norway. I have also had chances to explore different parts of Europe while on trips. For work, I have spent time as a Pony Handler for children's birthday parties, a childcare assistant, and a Unit Leader/Lifeguard for a summer camp.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I recently applied for a Spring internship with Alaska Crossings in Wrangell, AK, and am still finding a place to stay during this time. Since I am scheduled to arrive in Alaska on the 1st, I do not have very much time to look for housing. Through couchsurfing, I hope to find a temporary place to stay while completing my search!

Interests

I have always had a passion for singing. I started college as a Vocal Performance major, then learned about the Recreation Major halfway through completing my degree. After learning that I could major in Recreation, I switched over to this degree, believing that through this, I could pursue my other interests, and work with children in an outdoor setting.
