Hey, nice to meet you!
I'm Annie and I (obviously) love to travel. Therefore I choose every free time to discover new countries. Since I graduated recently, I'm currently solo backpacking for an unspecified amount of time. I would be more than happy, if somebody wants to join me for a little while or host me at some point :) All in all, I'm an easy-going and adventurous person who tries to spread some peace and happiness throughout the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is the best way to meet new people from all over the world. It's all about exchanging different cultures, opinions, values and knowledge. The platform allows you to really get to know how people live in the place that you are visiting.
Otherwise I would like to apply and improve my Spanish skills (I already learnt more in the past weeks while traveling through Central America than the three years of Duolingo before)

Music, Movies, and Books

Mostly my music taste depends on my mood - and there's always a suitable Spotify Playlist for it. In general I listen to a lot of German Indie Music and recently discovered some good Spanish songs. I'm happy to show you some!

What I like to read? Quite every book I get in my hands (especially since it's kinda hard to carry books in a backpack, I'm really grateful for the bookshelves in hostels).

I successfully got rid of my Netflix addiction, so I don't watch that many movies or series anymore. Life's to short to stay in bed, right? But some series I really enjoyed: Manifest, Elité, The Vampire Diaries, Big Bang Theory, Prison Break and Breaking Bad.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Every journey I do is a special experience I don't want to miss.
Back in 2019 I did my first solo trip through Europe only with carry-on luggage for two months - that was exciting and inspired me for my world backpacking tour in 2023/24.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can try to teach you some German if you need a little improvement. I also love to cook and clean - that's kinda meditating for me.
Apart from that I'm always down for exchanging some (stupid) phrases in our languages or doing a little jam session.
