ABOUT ME

I'm a friendly, open-minded, funny girl who enjoys having a laugh and is also capable of having a (semi) intellectual conversation. I'm a good listener (everyone has a story to tell) but I also like to talk a lot! I can find a positive side to everything. I love being outdoors, spending time with all kinds of people, doing silly things, having adventures and especially sleeping on couches!

I started couchsurfing in New Zealand in March 2013, after I finished an internship at a school. I decided to stay a couple more months to travel around, which eventually turned out to be a total year! Just fell in love with being in this country and actually living here, in an amazing community, with great friends surrounded by beautiful nature!! It's amazing when you find a second home on the other side of the world!

I spend my spare time doing sports like yoga, snowboarding, running and surfing (still beginner but love being in the water). Learning to kite board right now and just finished my open water diver course. Also practising to hold my breath longer so I can free dive for longer and spend less on dive equipment. In general I'm just always keen to be active and try new sports.

I love music and playing the guitar, but I'm still learning to be really good so that I can actually play a whole song. Even bought a ukulele in New Zealand and try to teach myself how to play. I can play a couple songs for entertainment if you ask me to!
