Overview
About Me
I am a very active person, who is always on the move. Just sitting at home is nothing for me; therefore I participate in many different activities all the time, always looking for the best thing to do. I would also say I am very open to all kinds of people, regardless of gender, sexuality, race or religion, and love to make new friends :)
At the moment: Studying in the Fatherland and filling the time gaps with as many travels as possible
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Its a great opportunity to meet people from the cities you're visiting and gives the chance to experience a much more personal adventure! I have met so many lovely people since I started couchsurfing and had a wonderful time in all the cities I have been surfing in. Hosting has also always been a great time!
All of us couchsurfers have the love of travelling and meeting people in common. Thats pretty much all you need to get along! :)
Interests
I love exploring, sports and sometimes I do creative things. basically.
A bit more detailed:
I turned into a sport addict over the past few years snowboarding for my university, and subsequently spent 2 winter seasons in Japan and Australia, teaching Snowsports! Now back in university for my Engineering Master, I am bound to the desk a lot more but still go skiing and boarding as much as possible. In summer I also enjoy trampolining, Kung Fu, running, inline skating, skateboarding and all other kinds of sports.
I also love arts. Both producing (--> drawing, tattooing) and appreciating other people's art is something that soothes and inspires me. Now with my degree getting more and more time consuming, theres not too much time left for it, but I found Henna and handpoked tattoos a good new way to be creative.

Music, Movies, and Books
I sadly don't read too much but I cultivate a few spotify playlists full of funk, electronic music and really weird stuff. Always open to new music!
The books I did read and really enjoy are books like Into The Wild or anything by Herman Hesse.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I've ever experienced was my exchange to New Zealand, where I stayed for three months at age 15. It changed my whole life, because I started to realize that the world is bigger than my small hometown. I met so many different, interesting people and did wonderful things which are still some of my best memories. It has broadened my horizon. Since then, I am addicted to travelling :D
Another great thing I have been through was Tagou KungFu school In Shaolin, China. I practised Martial Arts with 35,000 Chinese students in the biggest KungFu school in the world, exercising 7+ hours a day, achieving a whole new level of self-discipline and learning so much about the people there and also myself. We are capable of so much more than we think, if there is enough willpower!
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to share recipes with other couchsurfers! Since my Erasmus year, I got into cooking a lot and now try to improve my cooking skills and learn recipes from all over the world! In case I surf on your couch, I would be happy to cook something for us.
In case you surf on my couch, I would love to learn a dish from you (maybe one that is typical for your hometown/ country?)
What I Can Share with Hosts
