ABOUT ME

I guess my friends would say, that I'm a musing person. They often make fun of me when I seem to be disoriented. But I can cope with that because I have no problem with laughing at myself. Then they would say, that I'm a good listener and like to find solutions if someone needs one. And they all know that I can get very angry when I'm hungry. Especially my male friends are amazed at how much I can eat.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't search for the meaning of life, give it a meaning yourself.

Interests

If I have free time, I like to meet friends and cook tasty meals. A good concert or party is a highlight of the week but I also like just to hang out and watch a good movie. During summertime when the weather is nice nothing can beat a day at the park or Rhein jamming and having a bbq. I really like to spend my time outdoors and I enjoy hiking, biking, long-boarding, frisbee, speedball, etc. I'm also very interested in art, especially of the 19th and 20th and modern art. When I'm visiting a city with a good collection, I have to stop by.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: independent (e.g. rubber), crazy ones, my absolute favorite: the big lebowski (the dude is my role model)

Music: interesting and surprising music (no charts/pop)
Books: also crazy ones (e.g. Terry Prachett), adventure books, etc

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Caracas I stayed with a good friend and her family. One weekend her father took us with is own small plane to a unoccupied small island, called Isla de Tortuga. It's such a beautiful place. I have never seen beaches as white and soft as there and the sea was so clear and blue. Unbelievable. This was also the first time I went snorkeling and I'm still amazed by this different world underwater.
