ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Mirjami, nice to meet you! I love traveling and I want to get best sides of it: new places and new friends!
I am open person and I get along with everyone. I am talkative but neither afraid of quiet moments (Finn.). Deep conversations are interesting and I love to hear new point of views.
For sure I'm optimistic person. I catch up in different possibilities and hope to learn form them. I'm ambitious person and want to success in my own interests.

I enjoy places where mountains and sea are close. I need room to think and to get inspired. I also like big cities because I've lived in a small town.

MY PHILOSOPHY
....is to travel, talk and experience as much as possible. I believe in experiences more than prejudices.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here to meet new people! If possibly I can accommodate you or at least show you around the city or answer questions you have about Finland or Tampere.

Interests

I like to do all kind of things. I am very interested in art, making movies, street art and photographing. I do all of them and I can't pick my favorite, everything is so nice!

Photographing is my oldest hobby. My new interests are film cameras and granny's old polaroid. I usually photograph landscapes but now taking portraits seems interesting..

I study filming and have done short movies for three or four years. I love to tell stories with pictures and enjoy the process of making movies. I have directed, produced, edited, shooted and wrote a manuscript in different kind of projects. I love to talk about movies and even more I like to make them.

I have started to paint and do spray paintings. I do street art by myself.

I like pole dance, paddling, cycling, football and downhill skiing. I could go to hiking especially on mountains because views are great.

I listen to all kind of music. My favourites are jazz, rock and classical. I can also play piano. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was camping with my friends in west coast of Germany and we decided to go to the beach in the middle of the night. It was amazing! Sky was full of stars, sea was warm and it was totally dark. We had great time swimming and playing games. That must be one of the best nights ever and I would love to do it again! :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you about film making if you are interested. We can also shoot a video or write a script. :) Short movies are very close to my heart!
